Product Group Scope of the Legislation:

It briefly includes processes related to Cosmetic products which are regulated according to The Cosmetic Law No 5324 of 24.03.2005 and The Cosmetic Regulation No 32184 of 08.05.2023.

Basic Security Requirements:

In accordance with the cosmetics regulation, ensuring that cosmetic products are of a quality that will not harm human health is represented by Product Safety Evaluation Reports. This report is included in the Product Information File containing all the information about the relevent product.

Conformity Mark Required by the Legislation:

There is no special mark indicates compliance with the legislation.

Conformity Assessment Procedure Required by the Legislation:

It is the manufacturer's responsibility to ensure that the cosmetic product complies with the principles set forth in The Cosmetic Law and Cosmetic Regulation. In addition, it is obligatory for each company to have a Responsible Technical Person in order to carry out this operations. This person is responsible for ensuring that the product is not harmful to human health and that it has been produced in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices(GMP).
