Non-Automatic Weighing Instruments Directive (2014/31/EU)
Scope of the Legislation:
The regulation covers all non-automatic weighing instruments.
Basic Security Requirements:
Weighing instruments used or intended to be used in the applications listed in subparagraph (a) of the first paragraph of Article 2 of the Regulation must meet the basic requirements specified in Annex I.
Conformity Mark Required by the Legislation:
Compliance of the weighing instruments intended to be used in the applications listed in subparagraph (a) of the first paragraph of Article 2 of the Regulation is shown by the presence of the CE mark and the additional metrology mark on the weighing instrument.
Conformity Assessment Procedure Required by the Legislation:
The conformity of weighing instruments with the essential requirements can be determined by one of the following conformity assessment procedures chosen by the manufacturer
- Following Module B, Module D or Module F is applied. However, Module B is not mandatory for weighing instruments that do not contain electronic devices and do not use springs to balance the load in the load measurement. For weighing instruments that do not refer to Module B, Module D1 or Module F1 applies.
- Module G specified in Article 6 of Annex-II is applied.

Measuring Instruments Directive (2014/32/EU)
Scope of the Legislation:
Within the scope of the regulation; water meters, gas meters and volume conversion devices, active electricity energy meters, heat meters, measurement systems that continuously and dynamically measure the amount of liquids other than water, automatic weighing instruments, taximeters, material meters, dimensional measuring devices and exhaust gas analysis devices exists.
Basic Security Requirements:
A measuring instrument must meet the basic requirements in Annex I and the annex specific to the relevant measuring instrument.
Conformity Mark Required by the Legislation:
Compliance of the measuring instrument with this Directive is indicated by the presence of the CE mark and the additional metrology mark on the measuring instrument.
Conformity Assessment Procedure Required by the Legislation:
The conformity assessment of a measuring instrument with respect to the essential requirements is carried out by the manufacturer to choose one of the conformity assessment procedures specified in the instrument-specific annexes. In this framework, the modules that can be used for each measuring instrument are included in the annex related to the measuring instrument. Conformity assessment procedures are defined in Annex-II of the Regulation.

Regulation on Determination of the Rules on Nominal Filling Amount of Finished Packaging Products (2007/45/EC)
Scope of the Legislation:
It covers prepackaged products and prepackages.
Basic Security Requirements:
The products listed in Chapter 2 and put into prepackages at the intervals specified in Chapter 1 are only allowed to be placed on the market provided that they are prepackaged at the nominal filling quantities listed in Annex Chapter 1.
Conformity Mark Required by the Legislation:
There is no conformity mark specified in the relevant legislation.
Conformity Assessment Procedure Required by the Legislation:
The conformity assessment procedure is not defined in the regulation.

Regulation on Determination of Net Quantity of Prepackaged Products on the Basis of Weight and Volume
Scope of the Legislation:
The regulation covers prepackaged products with a fixed unit nominal filling quantity of less than 5 g or 5 ml, not more than 10 kg or 10 liters, which have values predetermined by the filler, expressed in units of weight or volume.
Basic Security Requirements:
The products listed in Chapter 2 and put into prepackages at the intervals specified in Chapter 1 are only allowed to be placed on the market provided that they are prepackaged at the nominal filling quantities listed in Annex Chapter 1.
Conformity Mark Required by the Legislation:
The "℮" sign specified in Annex I article 3.3 of the Regulation can be placed on the prepackages that comply with the provisions of the Regulation. However, this sign is not mandatory.
The font sizes of the nominal filling quantities of prepackaged products, expressed in kilograms or grams, liters, centiliters or milliliters, should be written on the packaging in accordance with the Regulation.
Conformity Assessment Procedure Required by the Legislation:
The conformity assessment procedure is not defined in the regulation.

Regulation on Measuring Bottles Used as Measuring Cups (75/107/EC)
Scope of the Legislation:
It covers containers, commonly referred to as bottles, made of glass or other materials of invariable strength and shape, which guarantee the same measuring technique as glass.
Basic Security Requirements:
Measuring cups should be closed or closable, developed for the storage, transportation or shipment of liquids, their nominal volume should not be less than 0.05 liters, they should not be more than 5 liters, and they should have the characteristics of measuring technique that can be used as measuring cups and their shapes should be standard.
Conformity Mark Required by the Legislation:
Reverse epsilon “3” mark as specified in Annex I article 5 paragraph 3 of the Regulation.
Conformity Assessment Procedure Required by the Legislation:
The conformity assessment procedure is not defined in the regulation.
