THE REGULATION ON CERTIFICATION, PLACEMENT ON THE MARKET AND INSPECTION OF PYROTECHNICAL SUBSTANCES (2013/29/EU)

 

Scope of the Legislation:

The provisions of the regulation cover pyrotechnic materials.

Basic Security Requirements:

Pyrotechnic substances within the scope of the regulation must fulfill basic safety requirements. The provisions regarding the conformity assessment processes required for this are included in the regulation.

Conformity Mark Required by the Legislation:

CE mark; It is the mark showing that the pyrotechnic substance complies with all the relevant rules of the technical legislation that requires the affixing of the "CE" mark by the manufacturer.

Conformity Assessment Procedure Required by the Legislation :

For conformity assessment of pyrotechnic substances, the manufacturer follows the following procedures:

 

a) At the option of the manufacturer, together with the EU Type Examination (Module B), one of the following procedures should be:

 

  1. Type conformity module (Module C2) based on audited product checks at irregular intervals and internal manufacturing controls
  2. Type conformity module (Module D), based on the quality assurance of the manufacturing process
  3. Type conformity module (Module E) based on product quality assurance.

b) Conformity module based on unit verification (Module G),

c) Conformity Compliance module (Module H) based on full quality assurance (related to F4 class fireworks)

Date of Entry Into Force: 2013/29/EU; It entered into force by being published in the Official Gazette dated 02.10.2016 and numbered 29845.

 

THE REGULATION ON CERTIFICATION, PLACEMENT ON THE MARKET AND INSPECTION OF EXPLOSIVES FOR CIVIL PURPOSE (2014/28/EU)

 

Scope of the Legislation:

The purpose of the regulation; It is to regulate the procedures and principles regarding the certification, marking and determination of the necessary safety conditions, placing on the market, market surveillance and inspection of explosives for civilian use. The regulation covers explosives for civilian use.

Basic Security Requirements:

Explosives within the scope of the regulation must fulfill basic safety requirements. The provisions regarding the conformity assessment processes required for this are included in the regulation.

CE mark; It is the mark showing that the explosive substance complies with all the relevant rules of the technical legislation that requires the affixing of the "CE" mark by the manufacturer.
